Live like the original settlers did (with a few modern conveniences). Just three miles from Yellowstone Hot Springs! Scenic views from every part of this 13-acre property. Little Trail Creek is 10 feet away from the cabin. Owners horses are on the property.
This is a 2 room rustic cabin. Main room has a table and chairs, hutch & a wood stove. Second room has two queen beds. Directly across the road from the Yellowstone River, this cabin is not for city dwellers. If you are afraid of natures critters, please see the listing for hotels in town. There is a padlock on the door.
A Brand New Bathhouse/Bathroom has been added to the rear of the cabin!
We are trying to preserve the cabin as much as possible. It is approx. 150 yards from the highway but feels like 1,000. Let the kids pan for gold and play in the creek. Our horse pasture is right next to the cabin. Open campfire site for cooking. Pots, pans, plates, utensils, lanterns, candles, bedding and towels all provided! There are outlets in the cabin for phone chargers & such! Hike right from the back yard into the Absaroka Wilderness. Follow the trail up Little Trail Creek.
We are 4 miles into the little town of Gardiner, Montana. 4 miles from Historic Roosevelt Arch - The North Entrance to Yellowstone. 45 mins to Livingston, Montana. 58 miles to Bozeman International Airport.
Short stays will be considered if there is only one night available between other bookings or an additional fee. Please message us if you would like to stay for one night between other bookings.

Pantry Items: Sugar, salt ,pepper, popcorn & oil. There are two 5 gal buckets available to store food inside the cabin other than that please keep all food in your vehicle.

The Cowboy Cookout - $20 for adults and $15 for kids. Includes: Sweet & slightly spicy ham & beans in a cast iron over the campfire served with homemade cornbread & homemade creamed honey butter. Or a hot dog bar with many toppings available for cooking over the campfire. Smores for dessert with a marshmallow bar featuring 12 types of marshmallows to choose from!
Lawn / Garden: Situated on 13 acres that back to public land in the Absorkee Wilderness. Horse pasture, small pond with koi & trout, a medium sized pond.
Bicycles: 2 small kids bikes
Water Sports: Gear, Inner tubes, a few life jackets, fishing poles, bat, balls, a few gloves and panning for gold supplies avail for use all stored in Maggie’s Gift Shop.

Each cabin has two cans of bear spray. If you are flying, bear spray is NOT allowed on any aircraft. It is also highly recommended that you watch a YouTube video on how to correctly use bear spray.
